Augmented Reality (AR)
Virtual Reality (VR)
User Experience (UX) and Interface Design
Serious Games and Interactive Learning
Digital Storytelling
Digital Environments and Immersive Media
My research often involves interdisciplinary collaboration with fellow researchers across multiple fields, including transport safety, education, cultural heritage and the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), as well as sustainability initiatives addressing food waste.
Within these collaborations, I contribute digital design methods and expertise in immersive technologies, particularly virtual and augmented reality, interactive media and user experience design. These approaches enable new ways of communicating research, designing interventions and engaging communities in complex social and environmental challenges.
Since 2017 I have secured $935,516 in external research funding across projects involving immersive technologies, digital design innovation, industry collaboration and community engagement.
